Easter (pineapple / crowns)
acrylic on canvas
36” x 24”
2020
One in a series of 8 totemic pineapple “crown” paintings.
I like how the skin of a pineapple can be abstracted into all sorts of geometric shapes. One day I started seeing the crowns on the face of each pineapple and took to making this suite of pineapple crown paintings. Signed on verso (back).
This was the first pineapple painted in this series. As always, a fabulous large welcoming pineapple destined to be a showpiece in your home or office.
Always free shipping in the U.S.
